“ This is simply the only place in the USA that I felt like I was home in a restaurant. And I am a born and raised Greek. The moment we walked in, it smelled like a home restaurant, looked like a restaurant, and I had service like in a Greek restaurant from home. The food was absolutely delicious, with beans and potatoes, just like mama used to make, and the meat was grilled to perfection. To top all that, the service was absolutely perfect, and that was even better than expected, much better than places we've been in S Florida, the place we call home. But again, when your server was a veteran server from cruise ships, that's what you get. I can't wait to get back and have a meal there again and see our favorite waiter. “ What is there to say about Pegasus Taverna that hasn’t already been said about The Sistine Chapel? The food? Tasted like the whole kitchen was made up of 30 Greek grandmothers who knew the recipes like the back of their hand. The atmosphere? Vasilis and Andrew made the 8 of us feel like we their nephews with the camaraderie and laughter they brought to our table. The service? Sure, the kitchen can perfect their meals to the last minute details, but if the wait staff isn’t up to par, it’s all for naught. Not here though, as Andrew didn’t miss a beat serving all 8 of us men. All around excellent, would shower the establishment in every award we could if it were possible. Vasilis and his staff proved why Pegasus Taverna has been a staple of Greek Town for so long. Cheers to them and thank you for the hospitality and service you provided to us. Opa! ”

“ Arrived between lunch and dinner services. Service was beyond excellent and the food was absolutely exceptional. Had Aknaki Pilafi (lamb with rice with tomato sauce). Huge chunks of melt in your mouth lamb, rice well-cooked rice (just how I like it). Mild tomato sauce (excellent not too spicy). Frozen strawberry daiquiri (plenty of alcohol) all made for a wonderful meal with my daughter. ”
